Da'naxda'xw/Awaetlala First Nation Guardian Program

The Da'naxda'xw/Awaetlala First Nation Guardians start with the late hunting season from January to mid-March, then they are present during Eulachon harvesting month of April. By mid-May they are patrolling the territory during tourist season through to mid-October and in November and December they patrol the area during the first part of hunting season.
