About our program
The Dane Nan Yḗ Dāh Kaska Land Guardian Program is active on the land, interacting with hunters, collecting data, protecting high cultural use areas, and coordinating a community freezer. We monitor moose, caribou, grizzly bear, fish. We are currently working on having more youth and elder participation within our guardian program throughout the new year.
