About our program
Tr'ondëk Hwëch'in's Land and Resources Department manages it's stewardship work through its Land and Resources Branch and Fish and Wildlife Branch, and works closely with the Heritage Department. This work focuses on fish and wildlife, food and commercial fisheries, hunting and harvesting, mining, forestry and water quality monitoring, land allocation, and other data collection and analysis. In tandem, there is considerable effort on legal and regulatory mechanisms for managing Settlement Lands.
