The Kitsumkalum guardian program covers over 12,000 square kilometres, including mountains, rivers and ocean environments. Our guardians are trained to combine traditional knowledge with western technology to get their job done. They have built strong collaborative relationships with both provincial and federal regulatory agencies. We have a very strong foundation for the establishment of a co-management strategy for the region.
